This kit is part of the 1/15 Scale Resin Cast Kit Collection by Kaiyodo of Japan. This one looks good next to R2 and Wicket as they are pretty similar in size. I love the concentrated pose Yoda has in this piece. I especially like how he is sitting on a log. Very unique in my mind. The kit was nicely cast in a few pieces so assembly was very simple and required little filling and cleaning. Painting was very simple. I sprayed it all Flat Light Aircraft Gray as a base coat. This would also take care of the cloak he wears. The skin was painted Interior Green and then dry brushed with some lighter shades of green to bring out the great detail. The cloak was dry brushed black and the nails painted Sandstone. The staff got the same color and was dry brushed with some brown colors. The log was painted a Burnt Sienna type color and then dry brushed with a few lighter shades of brown. The hair was made by gluing on some leftover hair from my 1/4 scale Screamin Yoda kit. It was a quick build that can be done in a day. I got this piece for about $15.
