This massive kit is quite a sight. It's very impressive. Its dynamic pose is meant to complement the related Luke Skywalker kit. You can set them up in a fighting pose. This kit is very big and very heavy. The cape is a very heavy rubber type material. The chain around his neck is a metal chain and the blade is resin. Everything else is vinyl. Construction was simple as there weren't too many parts. I painted this kit in Gloss and Flat black. No satin on this one. You can take the helmet off this kit but there isn't much to see, it's just a plain black helmet. I made up a nice base for Vader to enhance the beauty of the kit. When I took this kit out to photograph it, I heard a small rattling. I thought a piece fell off and looked for the source of the sound. To my surprise I found a half eaten gumdrop secreted away by a mouse deep inside the billows of the cape!! I got this kit off eBay for around $25. |
