This is a strange little model that I found on eBay. It was so cheap I just couldn't resist. When I got it, it was pretty poorly cast and was sort of disappointing. Upon closer inspection, it appears as if the original producer made a casting of an old Kenner TIE Bomber toy. I can't be sure, but I'm pretty sure it says Kenner on the wing! :) Either way, it was a challenge to build. As I mentioned, it was not cast very professionally. To start the two body halves were warped and had some trouble fitting together. This was the case with pretty much everything else. It was not a very inspiring build. That's probably why I didn't do a spectacular paint job. I just slapped on my standard TIE blue, painted the panels and there it was. Nothing special to speak of. It's not a great kit, if you could call it that, but it is nice to have a roughly 1/72 scale TIE Bomber to go with the rest of them. Like I said, this thing was dirt cheap. Less than $10 if I remember correctly.
