This is a great looking kit that was a complete pain to build. The best part about this kit is the nice 1/6 size and the complete Battle Droid included. This was what made it so difficult though. The droid had to have all free joints so it was very flimsy and weak. I had no problem getting the hefty STAP together, but putting the two together was a pain. The droid never stayed on long enough to let the glue dry. His joints would go limp and he would pull the STAP down and everything would be lost. I ended up clothes-pinning his hands and feet to the STAP, literally crushing them until the glue dried. After that it was ok. Weathering on the STAP was tough as it is so dark and nothing shows very well on it. But the Battle Droid has a nice used look to it. I got this kit off eBay for about $5. I plan on taking just the droids from 5 separate kits and making each variation seen in Episode I and II. Infantry, Officer, Pilot, Security and Geonosian Arena. You can see my evil plans beginning.
