This is a beautiful kit that I remember
working on when I was recovering from some surgery. All I could really
do was just trim the vinyl because I was bed-ridden. I had a nice pile
of shavings on my lap when I was done. Since this was a vinyl kit, assembly
was more complicated than if it was plastic or resin. Heating and bending
always makes for more work than normal. The only tough part to fit was
the head onto the body. I sprayed the head silver first and painted the
whole thing before I tried to add it. When I tried to put it onto the
painted body, it didn't fit very well so I had to heat it. Heating the
paint made it soft so I had to be really careful not to smear the paint.
I painted the body by basing it in flat white and painting the details
a dark blue color. There were also some silver parts as well. There are
some parts on the inside of the legs that are open once you trim them
off of the part tree so watch out for those. You'll either have to fill
them or leave them like I did. I got this kit off eBay for around $15.
