Mastered by Mark Kozik of Zarkus Model Kits and released by Scale Model Technologies, The Outrider is one big, beautiful kit. Measuring a whopping 16+" (40+cm ) across, the detail on this kit is stunning. The curved pieces that represent recessed panels are crawling with lovely detail that is molded and cast very sharp clean. Only some standard resin flash will need trimming. The kit can be built with landing gear up or down. Should you decide to build it with landing gear down, you will need to obtain some brass rod. The cockpit canopy is cast with closed windows, but easily be cut out if you want to build a detailed interior cockpit thanks to the hollow casting. This was one of the last Star Wars kits SMT ever produced, but luckily is back in production by its original creator at Zarkus Model Kits. Priced at $150, it is well worth the cost considering the absolute massive size and great detail in this kit.
