This is a one piece resin kit all the way from Australia. The first one I got arrived as a seven piece kit. Scale Solutions was nice enough to send me a whole new one that arrived intact. For a small kit (12cm/5in), there is an incredible amount of detail. The accuracy is dead on and everything looks really good. The casting quality is top notch with almost no cleanup. Since assembly was non-existent, I will skip directly to painting. I started by basing it in a light gray and then giving it a light coat of a darker gray. From there I painted the forward things varying shades of gray. I used the Star Wars Chronicles for reference because it has some great pics. I highly recommend that book. After I painted the rest of the kit with varying shades of gray, I painted the big red stripes across the front of the ship. I then added small blue squares all over the ship where the windows were on the studio model. I then added the medical bay window. It looks funny because all the rest of the windows are blue and this one is a yellowish orange. Oh well, it's accurate! Anyway, for the low price of around $15 it is a definite buy!
