This is a kit that I have been looking for for a long time...before the dark times...before the Empire. Anyway, when Kaiyodo was creating their 1/6 line of vinyl kits, a Luke kit was commissioned. The sculpt was made, but unfortunately rejected and never produced. The prototype changed hands and was cast in very limited numbers in resin. This is one of those castings. I found it on eBay already assembled and painted, but I plan on stripping it, breaking it apart and repainting/reassembling. I feel bad doing it since the previous owner did a nice job painting, but it must be done. Like I said, I found it on eBay along with the 1/6 Leia kit for about $35 each.
