This is a very simple kit that has only a few pieces. At first you think it is going to look great, but it really isn't very detailed at all. The panels are huge and just simple shapes, nothing at all like the real Death Star model and paintings. The seams around the pieces were terrible and there were no trenches. Oh well. I was so disappointed in this kit that I never really finished it. I just primed it and started painting the panels. I got pretty much all of them done and got tired of it. I left it since then. They give you the opportunity to make it a wall mounted kit, or a stand mounted kit. I chose to do the stand and used the wall mount as a crane in the Rebel Base kit. I got this kit off eBay for less than $10.
