| This is the smaller of the two Chewbacca kits that I own. It is a part of the 1/15 Scale Resin Cast Kit Collection by Kaiyodo. Surprisingly there are very few kits of Chewbacca available. Polydata had one lined up but never released it. I had heard that it will be released as a resin kit by a garage company, but have yet to hear anything more. I think this kit had like 3 or 4 pieces. The arms, bag and rest...so construction was simple. The hardest part was making the seams look natural. I based it in a dark brown, almost black. I then dry brushed increasingly lighter shades of brown and then some gold. I picked out the details and the bandolier and that was it. I'm surprised he didn't come with a gun...rare in a Star Wars kit. I think I paid around $15 or $20 for this. I got all the 1/15 Kaiyodo-type kits from the same guy. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
