This was one of my first experiences with non ERTL kits. I remember I didn't know too much about these types of kits when I bought it and I probably paid a little more than I should of. I'll tell you how much at the end of this article. This was my first Boba Fett so I hadn't developed my Fett strategy you'll see in my other kits. I love the pose on this kit, when you look right at him it's just plain great. Although the proportions of the kit are a little off, I still had fun with it. I think I used my classic Flat Light Aircraft Gray to paint the under suit. Some pictures show him with a bluish color, but I tend to prefer the gray as it looks more accurate and goes better with the green. The logos (unseen in the picture) on his shoulder and chest were actually stickers! I couldn't stand to have a big bulky sticker on him so I hand painted them on. The cape is actual fabric, it was kind of hard to paint and still keep flexible. I ripped it up a bit to look more authentic. When I was done with the kit I chipped off the green with my X-ACTO. Ok, now that you have suffered through this I'll tell you how much I paid. $75. I know, I know!! I wish I could find that scam artist. But don't worry, the money I save on the rest of the kits more than makes up for this. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
