This is a funny little kit. It is unique in the sense that it actually came with a base that attempted to look real. That is pretty rare as far as MPC kits go. I weathered this one up quite a bit. I tried to make 3PO a bit Tatooine'ish. The kit was horribly disfigured anyway so I figured that if I tried to make it look pristine, it just wouldn't work out. Why they chose 1/8 scale is beyond me. The R2 kit they released was along the lines of 1/6, so they should have made it to match that. The arms and head are somewhat positionable because the instructions call for a rubber band to be strung between them internally. It's tricky but doable. Just be prepared to replace the rubber band when it gets old and breaks. It's nice though because it does let you change his pose like I did with my modest 3PO above. Oh well, I got this thing for around $10 on eBay if I recall correctly.
